Today and Monday I worked on my Adobe Flash Project about what our game is about. And today I uploaded it to my wiki game page. I learned more on how to make buttons, how to make them go to the next page and I learned how to make each individual page by its self and code them all together to make something like a powerpoint to present to Ms. Dolan.

Today I worked on my team page and filled in all the sections on my team page. I had to answer the questions given on the team pages.

Today I worked on an assignment on Special Effects. You had to make a shape blur, drop shadow and explode, it was confusing. But you had to make a shape have a blur effect and another one you had to make it have a drop shadow effect and then the last one you had to make it have a explode effect.

Today I worked more on my game. I haven't got it finished yet but I have been working on it everyday... and it is very confusing.... It is compicated because if you get one little number wrong in the coad the hole thing will not work...and then you have to work on figuring out how to fix that mistake.

How to copy things

I learned how to copy a movie clip from another FLA, copy layers from another FLA, copy scences from another FLA, and copy and actionscript code from another FLA. I learned that you have to copy and past when you copy these things but it can be confusing.

The past couple of days I have learned to speed up how fast you can make your animation move faster. And we have been commenting on other blogs and wiki's so we can get some codes for our games. And just be socialable.

This week I worked on my game in this class and Thursday I went on to another schools wiki and I commented on two peoples blogs. And today and I am commenting on one persons blog at another school and I am working on my game.

When we have school days I think the Board of Education should just leave the school schedule alone and just forget about the days that we missed.

What I did today was I added navigation to a picture and also added sound to the animation.Then I uploaded it to m y wiki onto my project file.

Today I went on flash and made buttons and then after I got the buttons made I had to upload that button to my wiki page for a grade. This was pretty easy because we have done it before so I have some exprience on Flash.

What I did yesterday Tuesday, November 2,2009

Yesterday I work on Flash and I made a button, and what it does is when you code it and everything when you would test it there would be a blue dot and when you would put your mouse on the blue button it would change to the color red.
And another thing that I did is I made that same red dot move across the page.
I think I can use this information on my game for when it says play the button starts out to be blue and when you go the click on it it will turn blue. And then that button will take you to that game. And I can use this excersise on any part of my game that I need it on.

Saturday I helped my cousin move to there new house.
Sunday I helped my cousin unpack into there new house.
Monday I just sat around and done nothing.
I had a long weekend and I was so tired.

Today we put a score code on our game. We learned how to put a score code on our game and it is confusing.All week we have entered score into an action layer just to make the carrot and the rabbit move. We learned how to make the pictures move left, right, up, and down. We also learned how to make the game keep score. And we put a code in for a hitTest. What that is, is it is when the rabbit hits the carrot the carrot goes away and another one comes out.

What I am hoping to do in the Globaloria course, is learn all about game making and getting learn how other people make there games. I wanted to make games that relate to History and thing like how they lived before there was tecnology. I am excited about learning how to do everything but I am scared because this is my first time making games and blogging. I am scared that I will mess up.
